Q: CheckProtect® - What is it?
CheckProtect® is our recommended shipping method for personal checks. It offers an economical and trackable* shipping option.

Q: Can I determine the price of my checks?
Yes. To determine the price of your checks, click on "reorder checks," enter your routing and account numbers, and click on the "Continue" button. By selecting "Reorder Checks" you will be shown pricing for a maximum of 4 boxes in your current check style. You may also see the price of your selected delivery method. Prices shown do not include tax.
Q: Can I order my checks for my new account through you directly?
New account checks can be ordered through your Financial Institution to safeguard the security of your account. Provided your Financial Institution uses Clarke American as their check vendor, you may place reorders conveniently by clicking "reorder checks" located on our Web site.
Q: How can I change my check design or the style of my checks?
If you would like to change your check design or style, you have the opportunity to select between a number of check designs and three different binding styles on line. Binding styles include: single check, check with carbonless copy or top stub. In addition, you can call or send us an e-mail. Include the name, description and product code listed of the design you are interested in for faster service. You can find the phone number and e-mail form under "Contact Us" icon located in many areas throughout this application.
Q: How can I have my check order shipped to an alternate address?
If you would like to change your personalization or have the order shipped to an alternate address, please call us at 1-800-275-1053 to place your order or order through your financial institution.
Q: How do I cancel an order?
Please call us as soon as possible at 1-800-275-1053 if you need to cancel your order. You may also send us an e-mail, during business hours, by using the "Contact Us" icon on the first page of the Check Reorder Express function or at the bottom of this page. Please use the "Cancel Order" subject line.
Q: How do I change the address on my checks?
Please contact your financial institution to have your checks reordered with a different address printed on them, for the security of your account.
Q: How do I determine the price of designs other than what I have now?
Pricing for the different check designs is available on line by clicking "reorder checks." In addition, you can send us an e-mail using the "Contact Us" icon on the left navigation bar of our home page. Be sure to include your routing and account number, the name, description and product code listed of the design you are interested in for faster service.
Q: How do I find my routing and account number?
The routing number and your account number are located at the bottom of your check starting at the lower left-hand corner. The routing number is the first nine digits. Note that there is a four digit (six digit if business checks) number that matches the number in the top right-hand corner of your checks that is not part of either the routing number or account number. This number is the sequential number of the check and may come before or after the account number.
Q: How do I track the status of my order?
You can determine the status of your order by going to the "Order Status" link within the main header of the web site. If you have selected an expedited and/or secure and trackable delivery, you will also be able to link directly to the carrier's web site for additional order tracking information.
Q: I don't want my order sent to my old address, what can I do?
If the current address on the checking account is unacceptable for receiving checks, please contact your Financial Institution to place your order.
Q: I just placed a check order and want to place another one but the system will not let me. Why?
Once a check order is placed, there is a 21 day waiting period before the system will accept another check order. If it is necessary to place a check order during this time, you may do so by calling 1-800-275-1053.
Q: I placed my order at my branch, can I find out the status?
You can determine the status of your order by going to the "Order Status" link within the main header of the web site. If you have requested an expedited and/or secure and trackable delivery, you will also be able to link directly to the carrier's web site for additional order tracking information. Please allow 24 hours if your order is placed through your financial institution. In the future, you can conveniently reorder your checks by visiting our Check Reorder Express function. Your order is produced and shipped within 24 hours to 48 hours.
Q: Why am I paying for 2nd day or Overnight and not getting my checks during that time frame?
Please note that checks require 1-2 business days to print before they are shipped
Q: Why can't I change my starting number to a number lower than my previous order?
Due to restrictions placed by financial institutions, we are unable to change your number to a number lower than your current check order through Check Reorder Express. However, you can change your starting number to a higher number. You may "Contact Us" if you would like assistance.
Q: Why can't my check numbering go higher than 9999?
Due to restrictions placed by financial institutions and due to the space available in the MICR line (the magnetic numbers on the bottom of your check) if your order exceeds four digits the number will be reset with 1001.
Q: Why doesn't the reorder system let me reorder when I use my correct routing and account numbers?
The complete routing and account numbers are needed as they appear on the lower left of your checks, excluding only the check number. This system is a reorder system that duplicates the information from the last order, provided it was a check order. The information is retained for two years. If we have no current history for you the system will deny you access. Once an order is placed by us your history will be re-established and you may be able to order online after a 21 day waiting period, provided there are no changes to your personalization. For help placing your order you may initiate a chat from the Help section of the reordering link or call 1-800-275-1053.
Q: Why is tax is not included in product or delivery prices?
At this time our Check Reorder Express reorder process does not display tax. We are planning on upgrading this function to include a tax calculation in the future.
