Q: Can I change the address printed on my checks or deposit tickets?
ClarkeAmerican.com does not allow online changes to check or deposit ticket personalization for your security. If you need to have the address printed on your checks or deposit tickets changed, please call us at 1-800-503-2345. You can contact us online by clicking the Chat icon on the left navigation bar. You may also contact your Financial Institution to place your order
Q: How can I have my checks shipped to an alternate address?
If you would like to have your order shipped to an alternate address, please call us at 1-800-503-2345. You can contact us online by clicking the Chat icon on the left navigation bar. You may also contact your Financial Institution to place your order.
Q: How do I cancel an order?
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as quickly as possible by calling 1-800-503-2345. You can also contact us online by clicking the Chat icon. The chat option can be accessed from the left navigation bar.
Q: How do I track the status of my order?
You can determine the status of your order by going to the "Order Status" link within the main header of the web site. If you have selected an expedited and/or secure and trackable delivery, you will also be able to link directly to the carrier's web site for additional order tracking information.
Q: How long does it normally take to receive my order? What if I need it sooner?
Checks and deposit tickets take 1 to 2 business days to print. Once an order is produced, the normal delivery time is 7-10 days for UPS Ground or First Class mail. If you need to receive your order sooner, please select one of the expedited delivery options.
Q: How will my order be billed?
Your checking account will be debited for the amount of your purchase, plus applicable taxes, after your order has been shipped.
Q: My bank does not use Clarke American as its check printer. Can I order checks on this site anyway?
Clarke American prints for our partner financial institutions only. If you send us an email via our "Contact Us" option with a list of Financial Institutions in your area, we will gladly tell you which ones Partner with us.
Q: Where can I find the Transit Routing number on my checks?
The Transit Routing number and your account number are located at the bottom of your check starting at the lower left-hand corner. The routing number is the first nine digits. Note that there is a six-digit (or four-digit on personal checks) number that matches the number in the top right-hand corner of your checks. This number is not part of either the routing number or account number. This number is the sequential number of the check and may come before or after the account number.
Q: Why can't I order through ClarkeAmerican.com?
Your Financial Institution may prefer you to order directly through them. You will need to contact them to place your order.
Q: Will I receive a confirmation of my order?
Yes. On the Shopping Cart page, you can choose to enter your email address to receive an order confirmation email.
